Online Baccarat or, in some versions, “Punto Banco” is served by a Dealer who divides both Baccarat Casino hands – the player’s and the bank’s. The player’s hand is not necessarily yours, and could become a winning one regardless if the bank’s hand is better. This is because in Baccarat Online players can bet on any outcome. Each Baccarat hand will have a minimum of two cards or a maximum of three cards, and the hand with the score closest to 9 wins. For the calculation of the points of each hand, the cards from 2 to 9 have the inscribed value, those from 10 to 10 (10, J, Q, K) are null and the Ace has a value of 1. When you play Baccarat, only the last decimal is taken into account for the final score. Thus, a hand of 8 + 6 will score 4, not 14.
Analyzing the values above, however, it becomes obvious that the best strategy would be to bet almost without exception on the bank. Winning bets on the player have no commission, but they have a lower chance of success, covering even the 5% commission paid for each winning bet on the Dealer’s hand.
Even if it may be tempting to get those 9 odds for an equal bet, you should not even consider this option because you will certainly lose in the long run. Practicing free Baccarat first will reveal the same and reveal how the bets should have been placed in the first place.
